Well I was looking for the quinessential entrepreneurial experience. I searched for it. I talked to professors and friends about it. I got it in OCDN. It is amazing how just 3 weeks ago I was added to the team and how much was expected of me -- immediately. There is no grace period to get aclimated.
Back at the beginning of the year I was doing alot of thinking out loud (on this site) about the pros and cons of working for a big company and starting my own(post 1, post 2). Well the verdict is in and it is neither of the aforementioned. Go work for someone elses startup! Why this never occured to me in polling the likes of Professor Cornwall at Belmont University and Barry Moltz, I have no idea.
I am learning so much from my CEO (former Aramark HR Exec) about dealing with people that he has actively made me think about how I can make my mark on this organization and its strong team.
I will post soon about what I actually do. Perhaps I will call it, "The Fabulous Life of..." (get it?!)
