Think Different-ly

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can
change the world, are the ones who do.
I thought it apt to post this as Macworld kicks off today. It was a great ad campaign. Do you remember it?

Link Up to Start Up

HAppy New Year!
I had posted back in August that I was going to be in the latest issue of the Alumni Magazine. Well, I finally got around to scanning the article so that family and friends that have been asking about it can now just read it off the web. Isn't the web a great medium for distributing content! However, I still had to send a hard copy to my grandmother! I am working on her, but I think I am fighting a losing battle.
I am trying to work with Adam to flesh out a way to take the StartUp Challenge to the next level by building it into a regional competition and hopefully a for-profit organization. More on that as we work out the details, but hopefully this article will provide enough credibility to the new dean of Villanova's B-School.
